When you connect the plugin, we process your Google account identifier, optional email address, an OAuth refresh credential, and the Google Search Console data requested by your tool calls, including performance, indexing, and sitemap information.
We use Google user data only to authenticate your connection and answer the Search Console requests you initiate. The service uses the read-only Search Console scope to retrieve only the Search Console information needed for those requests. We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes, and we do not sell personal data or Search Console data.
Search Console Insights' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google refresh credentials are not stored in a service database. They are carried inside opaque tokens encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Search Console API responses may be cached in process memory for up to ten minutes and are discarded when entries expire or the service restarts.
Data is sent to Google only as required to use the Google Search Console API and to the ChatGPT or Codex client that invoked the plugin. Infrastructure providers may process traffic as necessary to operate the service.
You can disconnect the plugin in ChatGPT or Codex and revoke the application's Google access from your Google Account permissions. Revocation prevents future Google API access using that credential.
The service uses HTTPS, OAuth 2.1 with PKCE for MCP authorization, encrypted opaque tokens, short-lived access tokens, and read-only Google Search Console scopes.
