Search Console Insights

Connect your own Google Search Console account and analyze search performance, indexing status, sitemaps, period-over-period changes, and SEO opportunities from ChatGPT and Codex.

Read-only by design. The service requests Google Search Console read-only access solely so it can list properties you can access and answer the Search Console analysis requests you make in ChatGPT or Codex. It does not submit URLs, edit properties, or modify Search Console data.

Why Google access is requested

Search Console Insights requests the minimum Google Search Console scope needed for its features: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly. This lets the service read search performance, indexing and sitemap information for properties already available to your Google account.

Data handling

Google credentials are wrapped in encrypted OAuth tokens. Search Console responses may be cached transiently in memory for up to ten minutes to reduce repeated API calls.

Search Console Insights is an independent product and is not affiliated with Google or OpenAI.
